Role Overview
Esri India’s Commercial Business Unit has a sharp focus on Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail & CPG and Logistics/Supply Chain industry verticals. We are looking for an experienced Senior Presales professional who can help us in growing our revenue and customer base in the Commercial Segment. The opportunity requires the candidate to have strong understanding of applications of Location Intelligence and analytics in the focus markets. Candidate will work alongside a team of Presales professionals based across the country and strengthen the overall commercial offerings of Esri India.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with commercial sales managers in creating a Vision and Strategy for Commercial market for Esri solution offerings.
- Work as a Consultant/Advisor to customer organizations and use your creativity to propose solutions that help them reach their goals and initiatives. Use your innovative whiteboarding and presentation skills to support visual storytelling.
- Support the interaction with product demos, presentation and if required, a proof of concepts.
- Mentor and grow a team of Presales Professionals to execute the plan.
- Build solution offerings, demos on relevant use cases for all Enterprise focused verticals.
- Consistently conduct research and pursue professional development to ensure competitive knowledge and translate this into Presales strategy.
- Participate in and represent Esri India at industry and technology workshops, webinars, and conferences.
Desired Skills
- Overall experience of 7-12 years in business analytics, geospatial and related areas
- Understanding of various types of location data and methods of location-based analytics with the data
- Ability to articulate value of location analytics in solving customer business challenges.
- Ability to lead technical team for presales and customer enablement.
- Knowledge of market requirements, technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers in the commercial domain.
- Ability to learn new technologies.
- Effective relationship-building skills, and a demonstrated consultative approach when working with clients.
- Understanding of Esri Technology – ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Business Analyst will be a plus.
- Understanding of Business Intelligence and Analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlikview will be a plus.
Required Skills
- Relevant years of experience in GIS industry and business intelligence/analytics domain.
- Sound understanding of business areas and challenges faced by Enterprise Industry users.
- Should be well versed in current business analytics trends and should be able to bring location analytics story in those use cases.
- Should be open to travel across the area of responsibility.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion to configure and demonstrate ArcGIS solutions to address customer business needs and challenges.
