Meet the Esri India StoryMaps Challenge Winners

From October 6^th to November 7^th , 2025, Esri India invited GIS professionals, students, educators, and storytelling enthusiasts across the country to submit a compelling story created using ArcGIS StoryMaps. Participants could choose from the following five categories:

• Sustainability & Environment
• Infrastructure & Urban Development
• Heritage & Culture
• Disaster Management & Resilience
• Health & Wellbeing
• Education & Social Impact
• Water Resources & Agriculture
• Sports & Events Mapping
• Space & Science
• Community Stories
• Flora & Fauna 

This year, we received an exceptional response, with entries that demonstrated creativity, spatial insight, and powerful narrative storytelling through maps.

A distinguished panel of judges from Esri India evaluated each submission based on storytelling clarity, data and map usage, creativity, and overall design. After a thorough review process, the top entries were selected as winners.
