Overview
ArcGIS software provides unique ArcHydro tool for Water resources users for implementation of National Hydrology Projects. It empowers WRD users to work within preferred GIS environment and facilitates better planning and management of State water resources.
Pleased to inform you that ArcMap is now become ArcGIS pro, which offers unique ArcHydro tool. ArcHydro tool has evolved extensively to meet the growing needs of state water tasks. Tool facilitates new age of data-management and data standardisation capabilities with enhanced hydrology and hydraulics functions. It assists integration of ArcGIS pro with H&H modelling tools such as Hec-HMS & Hec-RAS, InfoWorks ICM. It helps in feature-extraction workflows, linear referencing, erosion calculation and supports Utility network for stormwater system.
In this webinar, we will showcase and demonstrate, how ArcHydro tool capabilities and workflows, and the ways ArcGIS as a system could serve as the foundational platform for building a State water information centre (SWIC) for states.
Webinar participants will find, how a unified, GIS-driven water-resource data architecture helps to improve planning, asset management, and decision-making for surface water, groundwater, and hydro systems of state.
Key Takeaways
By attending the webinar, participants will:
- Get insights of What’s new in ArcHydro (data-model enhancements, toolbox improvements, hydrology and hydraulics workflows, stormwater/utility-network support)
- Witness live demonstration of ArcHydro in ArcGIS Pro: terrain preprocessing, hydro-feature extraction, watershed delineation, Erosion assessment & integration of Flood modelling tools
- Learn how a state-level SWIC can be built using ArcGIS system + ArcHydro tool with able system infrastructure and seamless sharing of data with NWIC at Center
